Arrowood, Tour Co-Chair Our big Show-Me Water Garden
Tour will be Sunday, June 27. We
need volunteers to work at least 1 to 2 hours or longer the day of the
tour. If everyone works a few hours
then we all can go on the tour.
So please call me at 886-8191 to let me know when you can work. The tour runs from The tickets, posters and flyers
will be handed out at the May meeting.
If you are unable to attend, the tickets will be mailed to you. You
will receive your free member ticket in the June newsletter.
Be sure to patronize the businesses buying ads in the tour
ticket. This is a big help since
it covers our printing and poster costs for the tour. Their support enables us to spend more
on our service projects. The

² ² Garden Walk Join the LCAA for a one-day event
allowing local gardeners to share their gardens and their gardening secrets.
After the Garden Walk, a reception is held to thank the gardeners and
artists. Area artisans will sell their outdoor art such as blown glass, metal
works and pottery to the public. Time: ? ?

of the April Club Meeting Ø
Larry Arrowood
brought the April 15th meeting to order. He asked everyone to share
what is new in their ponds. Ø
Grandaddy's Garden donated $100 worth of plants to use around the
Jim Garden. Ø
Arrow Rock is having
a garden tour on Ø
There will be a work
day at the Jim Garden, Sat April 17th, at Ø
The golf course
project may have some changes. Mel Smith that had been heading up the
plans has resigned. We will have to wait for his replacement to decide
how the garden will be designed. Ø
May 20th is the
plant exchange at Jeanne Wilson's home. Pot luck dinner - everyone
bring a covered dish. Dinner is at Ø
The watergarden tour is June 27th and volunteers are needed
to work at the homes. Ø
This year we will
not have a member only tour in Aug. The program is not yet determined. Ø
Connie Rieth updated the club on the status of the library
project. The books will be available very soon. The club will
keep 100 books in the library. Club members can use their watergarden membership cards to check out books. Ø
The certificates for
the center piece contest winners (in December) were handed out. Ø
