Golf Course Pond Project 2004 - 2005
The water garden at the Indian Foothills Golf Course was built by the Saline County Water Garden Club as our 2004-2005 Community Service Project. It was built with funds from the club and a memorial fund for Earl Twillman. Earl was a long time volunteer at the golf course and was instrumental in getting the expanded golf course at the park.
This water garden was started in the fall of 2004 to the point of completing the pond, stream, and filtering system. During the spring of 2005 we completed the landscaping around the water garden and put in the little boy golfer, the golf tee on top of the bio-falls, and the golf flag pole fountain in the middle of the water garden. We think this water garden is unique and well suited for the location.
